Parex system for Lochs and Glens

The Parex externally insulated façade system (EIFS) is being used to provide insulation and boost energy efficiency at a new hotel on the shores of Loch Long. Scotland.

Parex Facades won the major contract to supply its Parextherm Acrylic system for the new Ardgartan Hotel which is being built by leading tour operator Lochs and Glens.

Due for completion next year, the traditional chateaux-style hotel will have the complete system featuring Aquaboard, externally bonded 195 mm expanded polystyrene insulation, Parex reinforcement mesh, Maite as both a basecoat and sprayed textured finish and a DPR Sand Smooth topcoat.

Parex is also supplying all the EPS profiles for cills, window detailing and string courses which will complement the traditional appearance.

The same system is also being used for nearby staff quarters for the hotel, which is the first new build venture for the leading touring holiday operator.
